Sleepy Friday

Well let's yell and have fun that it's Friday.  Sorry it's exciting for me cause it means the weekend is here.  And I am in need of my weekend right now.  I've been trying to kick this cold that I have and finally went to the doctor yesterday and I have a really bad sinus infection with an ear infection in my right ear.  Very uncomfortable.  Not to mention had to come to work and trying to work on about 4 hours of sleep is not a good combination.  I tried everything to get comfortable to sleep but fate was just not going to let it happen.  I woke up at 4:30 this morning when Travis got up for work- lost my voice, kept telling Travis to get up but I don't think he could hear me at first since I couldn't talk LOUD!  Then I decide that I need to breathe so I hook up the vicks vapor plug in thingy and stick it right on my pillow.  Maybe that will help clear me out.  Throat was sore so popped a cough drop.  Well I fell asleep.  Oopsy daisy..... Woke up with my hair in the vicks (yeah smells great) and cough drop stuff smeared all over my face.  So it was funny but I was able to breathe for an hour or so.  Alarm goes off at 6:45 for me to get up.  Just wasn't feeling it this morning.  But I didn't hear the kids up so I'm glad I got up. They hit snooze.  I later wondered if I could have gotten away with skipping work and school. Nah...probably not.  So now I'm here at work trying to find things to do to help stay awak. I love my job but it's very slow at times and gets very boring.

Going to get my hair colored tonight.  I decided a few months ago I wanted highlights in my hair.  I liked them at first but after $45 every 6 weeks to get it touched up.  It's just not worth it.  So I'm going back natural brown. Nothing wrong with that.  Plus I won't have to spend the extra money.

Travis and the kids are going in the morning to help others at church. They have a crew that calls themselves the "Cornerstone Contstruction Crew" and they help complete tasks at the church and help out others whom may not be able to do the jobs themselves.  For example one task they did was haning drywall in a basement for an older couple.  I think it's a nice thing for our church to do and it's good for the community.

Worked on a chore list this morning for the kids.  Maybe this will help them remember all the stuff they have to do each day.  It's hard for them to remember but I think it's just a kid thing. I'm sure they'd much rather do what they want then what we ask of them.  They are great kids though.  They help out alot and don't hardly complain.  Well not all the time.

Well I plan on having a nice relaxing weekend not to stressful or much work involved. I'm hoping to rest and get better as soon as I can.

Love,
Brittney
